New Volkmann Precision -- Range Report

I just put 200 rounds through my new Volkmann Precision Combat Carry. It was better than I ever could imagine. I was amazed at several things besides the accuracy. The pistol cycled so smoothly. There less perceived recoil / muzzle flip, and had much better control . Ejection patterns were very consistent. I could have caught nearly all the brass in a 5 gallon pail if I had one at the range. The gold bead front with the Heinie rear gave me the best sight picture I have ever had. I am left eye dominant and right handed, but I could more easily acquire this sight with both eyes open as compared to tritium three dot sights.
The trigger is the best I have ever felt. Last, it functioned flawlessly.

Steve, your two e-zine articles are what prompted my interest in Lukes pistols.

I took a leap going from a Kimber Eclipse to the Volkmann. I wasn't sure how much better it could get, or if it was worth the extra cost. It is all a very subjective topic, but for me, it is so worth it.

I find it difficult to put the experience into words. But your articles elucidate my perspective quite well.
