Please note that we have reorganized the locations for discussing .22LR (and .17) rimfire 1911 pistols and conversion kits. Consistent with the feedback from the two polls we conducted, effective immediately we are combining ALL discussion of rimfire 1911s, both complete pistols and conversion kits, in a new discussion area entitled "Rimfire Corner." You will find this discussion area under "Manufacturers."
The old Conversion Kits area has been renamed "Centerfire Conversion Kits, and it will remain as the place to discuss commercially available centerfire conversions. As before, custom, one-of-a-kind and home-brewed conversions will still be discussed in the "Gunsmithing, Troubleshooting & Refinishing" area.
The moderating team will begin moving existing rimfire conversion threads from the old area to the new one, but this may take several days to complete. Please be patient with us while we tidy up the loose ends. It is our hope and our expectation that having all the rimfire discussions in one place will make life easier in the long term, but we recognize that there may be some initial confusion.
