Hi,
I have a Colt Delta Gold Cup and I'm wondering if anyone makes a trigger that is non-serrated. For some reason, the stock trigger gives me a blister after about 200 rounds. I have several other 1911's and haven't really had a problem with them. Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't believe that anyone makes a smooth faced trigger to fit the Gold Cup frame. Would kind of like to have gotten one myself. For some reason the wider serrated trigger face bothers my finger also; so I just took a dremel tool with a sanding drum and knocked down the sharp edges. I suppose that you could just sand it smooth also.

But won't the blister get hard eventually and become a callous?
O.K. On a serious note Brownells has one that looks smoother than stock, but does have a couple grooves in it. It is a light trigger made from magnesium and titanium. The exact link I saw it at is:

Also my AMT Hardballer has a smooth faced wider trigger so somebody made them at one time.

I have a 'short' aluminum trigger made by King's for a Gold Cup. I did not buy the Gold Cup I had intended it for. If you were interested, I would sell it to you cheap and you could make it into a smooth one easily. 44 Man
