Hi I posted a message about "New 1911 Owner, I have another question to who ever can answer. Tonight I took my new CD & loaded the Mecgar 8 round clips that came with the gun, racked the slide to see if it would feed & eject the rounds. Well I loaded the 8 round clips with 8 rounds & both clips when manually moving the slide back on the last round the last round would not eject. It would hang up in the gun. Could this be caused by not having a round left in the magazine, plus trying to eject a non fired shell that is longer because of not being fired? I also loaded the clips with less rounds it would do the same thing with both clips even loaded with less rounds? Your answers, would be appreciated!

Test fire before you start messing with anything. You cannot move the slide with your hands as fast as it will move during firing, so last round failure to fully eject with hand cycling is not uncommon.
