After waiting 10 weeks for my Kimber Team Match II in .38 Super to arrive, I finally got sick and tired of waiting and waiting and got stuffed around. My second choice was SA Custom Loaded in 9mm. Am I making a mistake? I did hear about some nasty story of people's SA Loaded's sight flling off and stuff but after reading some of the threads here, I am start to get worried!
Unfortunately here in down under, I have very little choice in terms of 1911-A1 style pistol, it's either the SA or going back to a standard Kimber Custome Target II in .38 Super but for the same price, I get a SA Loaded with more features...hard decision...

I bought a springfield ultra compact and the rear site became very loose. I wasn't terribly concerned about it because I wanted to change the rear site anyway.....

Latest update! The bastards won't refund my money so I had no choice but to keep waiting...they recon they have made a mistake and I am getting a hell of a bargain and got two free McCormick bumper pad mags for free, so...4 more weeks of waiting!
HOWEVER! I bought a Glock 34 today! :D :D :D And I think my right face may bruise a bit tomorrow from doing too much trap shooting today...pretty fulfilled day huh? :D

new to the board, so don't know yet what others tend to experience. Got a 1911-A1 Loaded a few years ago and was impressed out of the box but accuracy faded after a few trips to the range. realized the rear Novak sight tended to wander. Went to the range with an allen wrench for the set screw in the rear sight and a pencil. when I had it sighted in, marked the center of the sight on the slide with a pencil, removed the set screw, and put in a drop of Loctite blue threadlocker. hasn't moved since in thousands of rounds...
