Hey everyone, Im going to be changing out my front sight for a night sight very soon and was wondering if this is what I should be grabbing. My gun is an RIA Tactical size. the link to the sight is here -

I was just worried about the height of the sight in comparison to my rears.

Thanks!

That sight will not fit your gun.

The RIA tactical has a dovetail front sight, and the one you listed has a post.

As to what tritium front sight will fit, I can't tell you. There are different dovetail dimensions.

Here is the spec sheet for the RIA front dovetail:

Any Dovetail front with a .180 post will work. From what I understand, RIA front Dovetials are a major pain to remove. Be careful and make sure the front you get has the right-size dovetail. Which is, I believe, .330.

Send the slide to Novak and be assured of getting the right sight installed properly.

While Novak can certainly fit one, Tacticals do not have Novak sights. They are 'Novak-Style' sights. don't know who makes them for RIA but, it's not Novak.

Except for an early run of Tacticals which did have genuine Novaks, which I suppose would mean that the cut is true Novak on them.
