Has anyone delt with this business before?

Beecher, IL 60478
I am asking because it takes a lot of trust to hand over my toy to an unknown person. If anyone knows them and can give me a thumbs up or thumbs down it would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know a gunsmith you would trust local to the far south suburbs of Chicago
Thanks
Jim

They are really good I've had 2 guns repaired by them, my dad had 1 done, and my friend had all of his cowboy action guns done by him. He is really good with cowboy action and 1911 from what I have been told but haven't had any to have them work on yet. But I wont lie to you the main gunsmith Al is a bit of a character but he does good work.

Thanks for the reply. That is a bit far for me to drive, but if I have anything but light work done on my 1911, I might look him up.

I'm kinda new to the area you guys are from (I'm in Park Forest) and I was just wondering where you guys go shooting. Where do you recommend for pistol? How 'bout rifles?
Thanks

I do all my shooting on the farm. There is also a very nice indoor range in Glenwood. The guy running it is a bit of a pain, but get past that and it’s a nice range. There was a wonderful range in South Chicago Heights that closed years ago, huge loss to the area. After that loss to our area, I don’t think there are ‘good’ places to go on the far south side.
In the spring, I will have another Pin/bull’s-eye/skeet shooting day on my farm. Your welcome to join us as we can always use another warrior in the fight against the advancing horde of evil bowling pins.
Jim
Ps We keep very strict range safety here, so if you don’t care for that….

I shoot at the Villa Park VFW, I'm a range officer there so it helps make it easier. That's handgun calibers and .22lr only, for shotgun I used to go to Glenridge Gunclub my dad was a member there. For rifle I used to go to Sycamore but don't go anywhere anymore but I don't really have any rifles to shoot. A friend of mine in the reserves or guard can't remember which got offered a job at The Site as a range officer so as soon as he gets back i'm gonna try to hook up with him and try it out.
