I'd love an officer sized one, but a Defender sized one would be even better! :D

Interested of course, any idea on the time frame before we could see it. I was planning on picking up an officers size RIA or Citadel.

I trying to get hold of the importer now he hard to catch . I will expect a answer in a couple days. It took several months to get the commander cleared for import I was showing the model at NRA convention and they weren't even in states till the next month .

Looks really nice.
But WHOA, NELLY! What's that I see next to the Amigo? A .22?
What's the deal on that? Is it available? How much does it cost? When/how can M1911.ORG get our grubby mitts on one for testing?

At the Shotshow Metroarms said the Amigo was still tied up in importation. The 22 is (I believe) a Chiappa, anybody know for sure?

It sure stood out from the rest of the American Classics, and not in a good way... the grips look a bit like wood, but are actually plastic.
Sorry Hawk!

The specs seem to follow those of other Filipino .45s, such as the Armscor Citadel cs and the RIAcs. Do you know if it has a FLGR with the little disassembly hole on it?

I would say so. Not many have viewed one yet except maybe at the shot show. I am hopeful that changes soon .
On these little compacts you need the guide rod as they keep the springs under control. My old Detonics has the same basic system I believe they invented it. They were the first successful cut down 1911's .
