Anybody know where I could get Clawsons guide on the 1911?

marlin44, grab up this weeks edition of Shotgun News (has a picture of a painted AR on it). I don't remember the exact page, but near the back on the right hand side is a large ad for 1911 parts and stuff. Near the bottom of the ad is a "books" section. The guy had Clawson and some others listed.

probably has the best price you'll find for the small Military 1911 book. There's also a CD available with probably thousands of pictures of vintage pistols and parts that is also great for reference.

That is the for the Government Models (Commercial Series) and it is on the market currently.
