If you are talking about when they were first shipped to the military during WWII, the 22914XX was shipped in the first quarter of 1945. The 900000 and 1000000 range would be around mid 1943. If you are talking about when they were converted to match pistols by the military, that could be between 1954 and 1968.

I found out by some research that it was transfered to Match in 1965, based on the parts.

Special Versions:
1) Springfield Armory: U.S. ARMY NATIONAL MATCH = 1954 to 1967 (Very hard to
identify. Early 1954 models looked like regular 1911A1 and later versions usually had
adjustable sights.)
These are not very hard to identify if they are original. They are very hard to come-by. because they are still owned by the military they never sold these in bulk. I found this on the sightm1911.com website. I am turning mine back in to the armory and getting a different issue, We are going to send it back to SARF (small arms repair facility in Crane Indiana) and try to get a newer less used model, Since this gun was issued to me from the USCG and I will be shooting it in Compititions...I need a tighted less used gun.....

The book "U.S. Military Match and Marksmenship Automatic Pistols" book by Bill Jenkins is an excellent reference and invaluable resource on those pistols and others. You can get a copy here: http://www.idsabooks.com :) :) :)
