I would like info of weight of Colt 1911

The colt website does not seem to have the weight of their current products listed anywhere. I am very interested in the weight of the Colt Commander with the Carbon steel slide and frame. Model number is 04691, Does anyone have the weight of this product?

Should be around 35 ounces

I could not find the Colt Commander listed at www.coltsmfg.com. I did find the Commander listed else where.The Combat Commander in 9mm, .38 Super, and .45 ACP weight lists as 36 oz.As for the MK IV series 70 and 80 they list the weight as 26.5 oz the same as the lightweight commander.

Thanks for the info. I have one of the Colt Commander in Carbon Steel on layaway and I was just wondering. It seemed much lighter than 35 or 36 oz when I was holding it. But maybe that was because of it's great balance!

Davidson's website lists a model O4691 at 36 oz.
