Finally got a chance to take the "new-to-me" MicroMax to the range yesterday. All told I'm pretty pleased with what amounts to a nominal investment. I picked it up lightly used for ~$200-bucks. The pistol was filthy enough when I received it to require a detail strip to fully clean! That and the mag-follower was broken on the one factory mag I received with the pistol . Part of the reason I'd yet to shoot 'er...was waiting on mags.

The Good:
-Not a single failure in 100-rounds of WWB 95gr. FMJ.

-More accurate than I would have thought! The target below was fired off-hand at ~15yd's. I say roughly since the range was packed & I had the "wall stall". It's hard to tell exactly where the yardage lines are that close to the wall...could have been 13-1/2yd's or so :D.

-Shoots pretty much to POA @ 10 & 15yd's.

The Not-So-Good:
-Sharp edges; the little beavertail-type grip safety is small enough to sink down in the web of your hand & those edges are sharp. The serrated trigger is no more pleasant. MOF, just about all the edges are pretty sharp...that and the grip frame stopping about 3/4" shy of the bottom of the mitt ensured the sharp edge of the MSH got its' fair share.

-So far, the 7-round mag only likes to be stuffed w/ 6-rounds. Squeeze in 7 and the top round won't strip off for chambering. Since the mags are new, I'll load up & let them sit a few days.

I like the little pistol well enough, I'll probably smooth up the sharp edges, do a little polishing, and have it blued. The only real complaints are with the outfit I purchased the pistol from.
