Need help on Colt Gold Cup Trophy Series?

I have a gentelman wanting to trade me a Colt Gold Cup Trophy Series.

I have no idea what one of these is worth. It has been fired he says maybe a clip.

These are according to him.

Need price on what it is worth.

My guess without seeing the gun would be around the $700 mark.

I bought one brand new for 859 blued. The stainless would be a little more. The used ones I have seen in stainless go for around 800 dollars depending on condition. The new ones come with two recoil springs (one for 185 semi wad cutters and a heaver one for other loads) and a seven round and an eight round magazine and a tool to adjust the trigger. Keep that in mind when you price it as anything that is missing would affect the end price. It is a fine 1911 and possible one of the best made today. I doubt you would regret buying one. I haven't
