Hi everyone good day,

I have a Colt Mark IV series 80 Gold Cup National Match in blue finish mfg
1985 and wanted to replace a bevear grip safety on it. My questin is what
could be the best drop in brand part that probably dont need modification?

Meaning it just fit like existing part.

What could be the market value on this?
No box only manual and tools

thanks

A Smith and Alexander beavertail should work great.

The Wilson one will need a little fitting. It's a different radius than the .250 that Colt uses. The Smith & Alexander and Ed Brown grip safeties are .250 radius. That said, I still haven't seen one that was a perfect "drop in" piece.

He wants a drop-in; the Wilson drop-in is the best. It fits the stock Colt frame, without any cutting. I have one on my Delta Elite, and the fit is very good. Of course, it will have to be fitted to your trigger, even if it does "drop in" to the frame.

RickB,

I will try a wilson on my colt and see how it works
