Another beautiful photo!!!! (click on the link to open it in a new window, if I was to post it here, it would be too large and mess the page layout).

Look at how each little detail of that diner is so well lit, so naturally lit. And each and every character in the picture appears to be so natural, as if they were not posed there for the picture.

The photographer, Ryan Schude, used 24 lights to make this picture, it is all described here (http://www.scottkelby.com/) and his web site is http://ryanschude.com/.

The guy definitely has some crazy light skills. Lots of stuff going on in that photo. I found the cat, but never did spot the pig.

If you have the time, follow the link to his website. Lots of amazing stuff going on there.

This is extreme and extremely interesting. Managing light is a huge part of better photography. With properly set up light, very good shots can be accomplished with today's modest "point and shoot" digital cameras. A trip through our Picture gallery shows the range of results. Many of the relatively poor shots are lighting problems which affect a bunch of factors including colour. Even daylight can produce poor results if the shot is taken at a bad time of day. On camera flashes can be terrible on small cameras. We have some very good photogs in our forum family and some stunning shots of our NHC toys.
