I went to a Gun show today in Rochester, MN and found a Norinco. It looked in great condition and was listed for $395.00 I forgot to get dealers card though. He had all his handguns under glass case. I didn't asked to handle it because I didn't have coin to buy. :(

That actually sounds like a good price, especially when you consider there are no cast or MIM parts in a Norinco. All forged and machined, just like the Colts of yesteryear.

Nice price for an excellent base for a custom gun! I would grab it, if I had the opportunity.

It looked liked the finish was slightly better condition to the one I own. I will post pics of mine soon so I can start the before and after. I like gunshows not for new guns so much but the used, more unique/ rare items.

David, there are few situations more painful for me than being at a gun show without some spendable cash. These days I'll skip shows (and gun stores) if the wallet is thin.

I just bought a NIB one for that price. The dealer had a few more left at that price last I knew (about a week a go). He picked up a lot of about a dozen in some liquidation. If you are interested, let me know and I'll get you his info (although if you can find your local guy, that's not a bad deal, either).
