And it is gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful! I just opened it up so I haven't fed it yet, I know it's hungry... I know I'm still pretty much a novice gun owner, but is it ever a beauty now! Just outstanding work!
I requested the "Model O" package, along with an extended thumb safety and a checkered mainspring housing (instead of the stock nylon). I also requested that they flare the ejection port which they opened up just a bit on the other side as well.
I am just extremely pleased!
Pictures will come, and will be enjoyed by all...

Glad to hear about a good report and another satisfied Custom Shop customer. They did my Combat Elite vintage 1990 a short while back and I too was very impressed with the work done. Hey! glad you are really happy with your gun and I can hardly wait to see pictures.

Quite nice! I always like wood with medallions best.

Very nice piece! I'd go with wood however, that is the best looking pattern of alumagrips I've seen.

Very nice. My preference is wood grips with Colt medallion. It looks a lot better and really, really looks like a Colt.

Lookin' good! I. as most here, prefer wood stocks on my pistols. But for use, I prefer something else, be it alumagrips or rubber. These hold up best for use, while wood is for when I want to be lookin' good.

How soon for the range report?

Wow! It looks really good. The Alumna grips make it look more stealth like. I think some G10 black double diamond grips from VZ would look good too. I just got out of all my G10 type grips. I like everyone else decided that a good set of well made wood grips have a warmer look and feel better to me. I really like the blue gun though and the O package turned out super good. Good luck and enjoy shooting it.

Looks really good. Mind if I ask what the turn around time was? I'm thinking about sending my series 70 in for some work.

ALL Colt's deserve quality wood grips. Save the tacti-cool stuff for the off brands. Nice blaster!

It took about 13 weeks or so. I sent it in the second week of December, but they were also shut down over Christmas.

Thanks. It's a bit of a wait, but judging from your pics it's worth the wait.
