I bought my first set for a Sig 229 about 15 or 16 years ago if I recall correctly. I carried that Sig 24/7 until 2007. I bought my son a set shortly after buying mine. Both sets still work like they are brand new.
I currently have a set on my Commander, but I would like to have a set for my New Agent.
Thanks Crimson Trace, for your kind gesture!

I bought my first CT grip and then bought a large frame Kimber to put it on. I liked the laser sight so much that I changed my carry gun from a SIG 225 to a Kimber Ultra to allow a CT grip on it also. Okay, I also had 9mm issues! No problems with either grip. Battery life is long. They can be easily adjustment to point of impact if needed at all.
I have the front activation models for both handguns. They allow the laser to be turned on or off without changing your grip. In my carry gun, I leave the master switch on. The switch does not touch either of my holsters that I use. You do have to make sure that your holster is Crimson Trace friendly!
However lasers are not a substitute for practice. They excel as aiming devices when you have to shoot from odd positions or in very low light.
