ANYONE HAVE ONE? Anyone seen one? How good are they? I have seen one but the dealer wont let me look inside it.
I do have 10 HI-STANDARD magazines and they are top notch

Dealer won't let you give the firearm a thorough inspection before purchase? To me that says "run away, run away"!

Hi all,

I have heard nothing but horror stories about the new High Standards. :)

I have a High Standard in 38 Super the gun itself isn't bad looking but the slide to farm fit could be tighter. Which I will do once my hand is better ( kind of hard to do one handed) LOL. It shoots well and has never had a cough so far but sure ain't cheap to shoot as my 45's. All-in-all it's an ok piece for the money.

I ran 50 rounds thru a friends Camp Perry teflon model and it was very accurate and the trigger was crisp and probably in the 4.5# range. I almost bought it but it was designed to compete mil-spec so it didn't have any bells or whistles. These models are designed to win Camp Perry titles right out of the box. I had a few questions about it so I called the factory. Whoever I talked to really knew his stuff and I felt really good about the company.
