I've been researching the various ways to clean lead out of a barrel and from a tip I stumbled upon from another thread I tried one of these pads and it worked really well! The particular type of cleaning pad that I used wasn't "Chore Boy" but it was a copper pad from "Quickie" that I picked up at Walmart. I simply unraveled some of it and trimmed it up to make a square and placed it over the chamber end of my barrel and pushed it through with the pistol rod and .45 jag I have. I worked the jag back and forth at the throat, where the lead was, and I could see the lead falling out of the muzzle! Whoever recommended this, Thank You! For those that are still skeptical, try it! It works! Simp
