Everybody is buying the expensive talons and stuff I have an enforcer 2, has some scratches and thats ok I carry often. I have owned abaout every 1911 from springfileld to wilson to kimber and this gun has never jammed. I am not an anal cleaner of my guns. I wipe them off to not get my clothes dirty when I carry,If you spend that much they should work! but other wise I clean 2X a year. Its the best money I have spent on a 1911 to date. I acually got to go to the factory and meet craig and all the gunsmiths when I went on vacation to ARK....I got to meet the guy who sighted her in...Rodney. I trust this gun with my life and no off the shelf springfield or colt could give me that.....2k well spent will recomend to anyone. Also like I said stick to the basics, Ive shot nighthawks most expensive guns and the enforcer does the same job.

(It's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it) True romance

Your comments reflect the beauty of owning a Nighthawk Custom Pistol. At NHC there is no 'skimping' on their lower end guns (by 'lower end' all I mean is their least expensive. I know there is no such thing as a 'low end' gun with NHC - all of their guns are high quality, top notch firearms). All of their products get the same attention and build philosophy - from the Enforcer to the Predator. NHC is the only 1911 manufacturer that I know of that guarantees 'ALL' of their models to shoot 1" groups at 25yds regardless of price level, barrel length, etc. You couldn't do that unless you used high quality parts and skilled pistolsmiths to build all of your models. With their higher end lineup you get more cosmetic touches that make the gun look nicer (in some folks minds). Different people like different things. It is human nature. That is why there are Talons and Predators and GRP's along with the Enforcer line.

Enjoy your Enforcer II. You know it will never let you down and it will last a lifetime. One day I hope I can make it down to Berryville and meet Craig and the gang. It would be great to actually see our NHC pistols being created!

My Enforcer, although the "low end" gun is exactly the gun I wanted. Bobtail, bull barrel, full night sights...
When dealing with NHC, any gun is like rating levels of perfection, they are all perfect! Really perfect, absolutely perfect... except none are "almost perfect" ;)
NHC? You bet your life on it! I bet my life on it! Nuff said!

I'm surprised they are discontinuing the Enforcer line.

Heli - I have several really cool and exotic NHC's but the one model that's my constant companion and carry gun that I entrust my families lives and well being to when we're out and about? An Enforcer II Lightweight Bobtail.

It has Novak Bar-Dot tritiums on it. It runs perfectly and is very accurate. Due to it being a LTW it's a real joy to carry when those occasional 16 or 18 hour days pop up. I really like the bobtail on a ccw piece too. It's just an awesome defensive weapon that I can't praise highly enough. I know it will get scratched up and worn looking along the way, but that will just give it some honestly earned character which will make me appreciate it all the more.

I've been to NHC's shop and met all of the guys and there simply isn't a better group of 1911 smiths anywhere. And as far as customer service in the gun industry goes, Craig is absolutely without peer - he's the best.

Enjoy your Enforcer II knowing you own a really awesome high quality 1911.

As 1911 consumers we have never had so many great choices. Nighthawk, RRA, LB. So many really great guns!

You guys are all on the right track... I just spoke with Craig today regarding the 6 extra mags for buying a new pistol... (I bought the talon)... he was great he told me how everything was guaranteed and if there was anything that needs to be fixed, it would be totally on them... Now that's customer service!!! I wish i had that kind of customer service when i had to send one of my other 1911's back to the manufacturer...
Enjoy the Enforcer...

You all should know by now, that bragging is encouraged here, but it is useless without the appropriate .... documentation.

All of you are a bad influence on me. I'll end up with a Talon if this keeps up.

Yes, it is to bad to see the Enforcer discontinued. I wonder if it will have an effect on the value of my firearm?

No ideas on discontinuing model and value?

You shouldn't buy firearms because you want an investment (you'll always lose) - but buy it because you want/like it. It's a quality 1911 built by a good mfr. That's all that matters.

I just bought a new in the box Enforcer from Gunslinger last week. Bought it because I love the gun and the look.

Took it out for the first time today along with a Kimber I also bought. The Nighthawk is sooooo sweet, I love this pistol. Fired off 100 rounds and it performed flawlessly.

I think that NHC is still a "secret" to alot of shooters including 1911 enthusiats. 1911 fans, I think, are very loyal to their brands - LB, Wilsons, Browns. I have handled the Talon 5". The fit, finish and quality...not to mention the extras like the recessed notch for the slide stop and the top of slide serrations are great. I will be picking one up as soon as some money starts rolling in again.
