FireStorm Gov MaxI 45 ACP Rear Sight

I have a FireStorm Gov Max I 45 ACP, Any one know where I can find a rear sight besides factory? It is a dove tail has to be .324-.324 and a little wider than factory if possible. Also any one know what the width of the sight used on the model 87 Llama Match Pistol? I have made a very good and dependable shooter of my FireStorm and would like a better rear sight. I can take a colt or a Chip McCormic sight I have and cut or file down, but rather find one that fits if possible. Also looking how I wrote this, when I say wider I need to one that covers up the little spring that is under the sight, my Chip McMcormick shows just a little of the spring.

Delayed Welcome to the Forum! :D My understanding is that 1911 rear sights (stock GI dovetail) will fit the Llama/ Firestorm pistols. Did your pistol come w/ 3-Dot sight's? If not, they're listed under the parts section on the Bersa-Llama website.

I have the Three Dot sights such as they are. The rear sight is different
than reg. GI or Colt, they are .330 I need .324 maybe .325 to allow for a
.001 interference fit. I have a Chip McCormic sight for the Reg. 1911 or
Colt I will just cut that down to what I need, was trying to get by easy.
It may be that some models that Llama made were the same as Colt, it seems they liked to mix things up from year to year.

I hadda change sights cause I just plain cant see 'em.

Got a gunsmith to rout out or whatever process was used to make the dovetail fit Wilson Combat sights and mounted a corresponding front sight too.

Best $50.00 I ever spent as the gun makes 50 cent sized groups from a rest. I dont shoot that good, but the gun does

I do have a gunsmith I can use to do that,I kind of thought of that to. But I found a rear site made by Mec-Gar when they were in the sight business.
A very nice target sight. Found a place then had 22 of them. paid $9.99 plus
shipping. I should say I think they will work, won't know for sure until I take it apart. But I will check Wilson out to as my eye sight is not the best any more.

Just a note I did find the correct sight, Brownells had them all along. They are made by LPA I think? They have a white out line adjustable target, retail for $48.95 same as the old Mec-Gar. Work real nice.

Thanks MPH I was looking for aftermarket I don't like the small rear sight, I should say my eyes do not like it. Brownelld had it all along and I buy often from them just did not see it did not ask either.
But I need to make a correction as to thr price I gave it should be MSRP $61.35 and you do have to or may have to as I did that's a little filing it fits tight. Very nice sight. They are made by LPA and are much like Bo-Mar.
