I am soon to 'enhance' my Colt S70 M IV and would appreciate suggestions on the very best options available for the following
Trigger
Sights (f &r)
Grip safety
Hammer
I have heard names bandied about, but usually without "why they are preferred."
Or should I pick a style of part, and let the shop I select handle the details? (not like me however, and I would prefer avoiding remorse after the fact)
Thanks in advance

Trigger is very much a "what do you like?" thing, so I won't go into it.
Sights: I am partial to the Novak Low Mount sights. Why? They offer the best "sight picture" I've seen, and they are designed so that they do not snag on clothes etc. Plus, I like the way they look on a pistol. A dovetailed Novak front, is fine with me.
Beavertails: I tend towards Brown even though my pistols are equipped with Wilson's. I think the Brown lets your hand fit higher up below the safety than the Wilson's.
Hammer: I like one that Wichaka send me lately, maybe he will jump in to tell you who made it. I have no idea, but it looks great.

Ed Brown for most of the small parts. Wilson for extractor, FP block, and slide stop. Schuemann for barrels. SDM for sights.

Thanks guys. While I am a FNG with the 1911, I can clearly envision what I want and appreciate your advice/insight on the better quality options
I will now have to find a qualified smith who is both trustworthy, reputable, and available
The latter may be the bigger challenge.
