Could someone please let me know what year my Mk IV Series 80 Gold Cup NM serial no. FN01100E was made? Thanks!

Den888, thanks for your reply. I rang Colt and after being put on hold for 10 minutes waiting for an advisor I gave up, not just because the international call was getting expensive but also because the automated voice selections were faint and difficult to hear (bad Atlantic cable connection??).

Is there an easier way anyone please?

Usually, Colt will come on the line fairly quickly (usually less than 5 minutes waiting time), which has been my experience.

The only other source I know of - http://www.proofhouse.com/colt/index.html
has only older Colts...
