I guess you are referring to the R.S. provisional inspection stamp and the W.B. acceptance stamp. If so, there is a 752000 Colt on the 1911.com forum now with the same stamps, and it is true.

That pistol has been posted for sale several times over the past couple years. The R.S. provisional inspection and W.B. final inspection is a fact.

The blue finished feed ramp being original...that is fiction as far as I am concerned. I'd say, without seeing the pistol, someone has probably fooled with at least the feed ramp. Colt's didn't blue the ramp on a Parkerized pistol. They were too busy for that kind of nonsense in December 1941. Someone with a lot more time on their hands did that deed.:)
