These are excellent.
My favorite is the last pictures in the first post. The silhouette of the woman is perfect.
Though these are not really a vacation I was having a few cold beers with the plumbing inspector at the beginning of the weekend so this is almost a vacation.
I hope this qualifies.

Dr.T great pictures.
LoRL, actually, our trip to Hawaii in 2001 was the last trip before I switched to digital. Two Nikon bodies with motors, 6 Nikkor lenses and the assortment of paraphernalia in the camera bag, were enough to kill my back. I have to see if I can find the negatives from that trip and scan them in the computer.
At that time, I sold everything (I never managed to like the F3 I had back then) and went "modern". Now, after 8 years, I again have a range bag full of Nikons and Nikkors. But I can't afford a trip to Hawaii again!

when i went to hawaii last year I was still figuring out how to use my camera phone :( those pics are great...the fish and turtle pics are my favorite. the turtle with its head above water and body submerged just became my desktop background.

OK, I've posted some digital samples from our recent vacations to Kythnos (a Greek island). Here are some of the slides/prints I shot.

Man Dr. T, these are phenomenal. I think that one from the para-sail is my favorite. That view is just not something everyone is able to experience. Your gonna have to share some of you techniques :D Now wheres the bow down smiley.

Nice John. Looks like you had some really tough lighting to work with. I really like the B&W one. Lots of contrast.
