Hello All,
I would like a 357mag auto, 44mag auto or a 50cal auto, on a ROCK Longslide or FS. Is this possible? I thought to ask the forum members before bothering Arnel.
I need a bigger recoil and bigger bang (makes me feel like I'm really doing something). I will continue shooting the 9mm, 38super, 45ACP etc. but will shoot the larger caliber for the big thrill!
Thank you,
Boar man

A Scandium frame 4" revolver in 44 mag will do it just fine. :)

I have a 357mag, modl 17 S&W 6" target but I want something in 1911 auto.
My preference is a 50cal in 1911. or 44mag in 1911.

Well if you want a 1911 platform then you will have to stay with a cartridge that fits in the 1911 mag well. Those won't.

Buy a 10mm and be done with it.

There is a .460 Rowland conversion by Clark. It's available through Brownells:
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=5003&title=1911%20AUTO%20.460%20ROLAND%20CONVERSION%20KIT
However, it is not recommended on pistols with cast frames -- and the RIA has a cast frame.

I'll do some more research.
Thanks
