I was field stripping my High standard, cleaning it really good, when i accidentally moved the thumb safety too high. Now it is stuck way up there and the hammer is cocked. Can anyone help?

Hi CVFreak: :wc: to the Forum!
Push the thumb safety pluger pin forward with a knife blade. It's popped out under the thumb safety.
You may have to wiggle the hammer a bit, and removing the mainspring housing will help you do that.

Thanks for your help niemi24s, but not 2 minutes after I posted this, my dad had gotten a hammer, and forced it down. It reasembled fine and cycles fine. I just wasn't pushing hard enough I guess.

Brings to mind an old carpenter's joke:
Q: What's the best way to keep from hitting your thumb with a hammer?
A: Hold the hammer with both hands. :D
