80% frame

I was at a gunshow and saw a 80% frame for sale. It was forged aluminum and stamped "A Aberdeen". Does anybody have any experience or comments on the quality of "A Aberdeen" frames?

I have never heard of them. And it had been my understanding that most of the companies offering so-called "80%" frames had gone out of that business due to increased BATFE regulation/scrutiny. I may be wrong on that -- or there may have been more suppliers of such than I thought.

I believe it was AAberdeen Armory. I also believe an assembled 1911 built on one of their frames was advertised/sold on GB within the last year.
