The rear target adjustable sight must be removed to change to Meprolight Night sights. I am confused as I called Kimber earlier and was told to push sight off from Right to Left, looking from rear of slide, then at the NRA show I was told to push the sight off from Left to Right to replace with Metro sights. Anyone that has done this please inform me as to which is correct. I don't want to damage the dovetail. Additionaly, to check or ? the Swartz firing pin block, the rear sight has to be moved or taken off. Who knows how much grime has gotten into this system over time and could cause a failure to fire, if very gummed up.

Thanks for your help

Right to left is correct when it starts moving watch for when you can hook the spring out of the block so it doesn't disappear. Never seen much dirt in this area.
