Bought one 4 - 5 months ago. An XSE commander in .38 super.
Wouldn't change a thing. It's everything I wanted!.

Recoil spring: The one that is in it. (Replace it with a 16 lb spring when it wears out.)
MSH: Les Baer if you want serrated, Ed Brown if you want something else.
Brownells supports the forum and I support them. ;)

and a MSH to replace the plastic one.
FWIW.....in a lightweight pistol, I'm curious why you want to replace a lightweight, virtually indestructible nylon MSH with a heavier weight metal one? Perhaps you are looking for aluminum....

The factory standard for a .45 ACP Commander is 18lb. The factory standard for a Super .38 ACP Commander is 16 lb.
