Scratches on Main Frame

By using too much pressure while inserting the slide stop, I managed to put a deep scrtatch in the frame. The weapon is a Kimber Tactical Pro II so the frame is aluminum. Anyway to repair, other then redo the whole frame?

There is a Birchwood Casey touchup pen that I think is just a form of black paint.

There is an Aluminum Black that will chemically darken the aluminum but it takes repeated applications and a lot of rubbing, or did on the bare patch on a scope sight of mine.

Otherwise, you have scratched through coating or color anodizing and nothing will really fix it but a refinish at considerable cost.
