Easy! Just go to a free pic hosting site like imageshack (http://imageshack.us), click "browse" to select the .jpgs from your computer and hit "start upload" - make sure the "resize 800x600 pixel" box is checked so that you don't upload humungous pics. Once you have your pic url, click on the yellow "insert image" button above the text entry field when you're ready to post a reply and paste your pic url in the popup box that'll appear.
Looking forward to seeing pics of your Delta! In the meantime, here's a pic of mine, the first gun I ever bought (and of course, still own):

I saw the pics CHIEF, very nice! Is that box the original one for your gun? Does the s/n on the label match your gun? Mine's an early gun, it came in the maroon "A Tradition of Colt Craftsmanship" cardboard box with the styrofoam insert. Yours is probably of more recent manufacture than mine.

The new Delta Elite's do have the arched MSH but the one's I've seen have had a black trigger. Serial numbers have a DS prefix. Nice pistol, CHIEF, and welcome to the Forum!

That's definitely an original, not re-intro. The pebbled grip texture on the rubber grips, the single striations on the magazine release, and the mid-length steel trigger give it away.
Re-intro's have a checkered striations mag release, checkered texture on the grip, and long black aluminum triggers. Also, mainspring housing material is
Delrin or other plastic.
As well, the rollmark under the ejection port now says "10mm/SEMI-AUTO". Originals have "10mm COLT AUTO".
Last but not least, the slight flaring at the slide ends (of the polished flats) are typical of all 1980s Colts.

Very nice......but don't call it NIB, as you know box is not original.
You probably won't find any affordable 10mm right now.

Funny thing is, I am finding it a lot easier, and in most cases cheaper, than .45acp these days.

DDI haven't bought ammo during this current Administration, so reading your post just makes me shake my head! Last time I bought .45, it was 7.99/50 WWB.......I have Remington 38 Super, also 7.99/50..... even 10mm Reminton (I think) at 8.99/50! I really splurged and paid 18.50/50 for 10mm DT practice ammo!! Fortunately, I still have a decent supply...... as I just ain't paying these crazy prices for ammo nowadays.........

I bought a lot of the Double Tap 10mm ammo several years ago. I think I paid $25.00 for 50 round boxes of their premium defensive and hunting loads. Luckily I still have quite a bit. Mostly I've shot it out of a Glock 20 but I have shot some out a Delta Elite. It's been great ammo but it is pretty high powered. I've been a little hesitant to shoot too much of it out of the Delta. How do you feel about that Paul?

I have fired the practice ammo at 1250FPS and a little of the hi-test DT, and I think the same as you. I followed advice from 10mm gurus and use a FLGR (really not a fan of them.....but) a shok buff and a 22lb recoil spring. I always meant to also get an EGW flat bottom FPS, put a very slight bevel on it, but haven't yet..... For a good while now, I have curtailed all of my spending on the shooting sports anyway and try to work all the extra I can.

I haven't tried any shok buffers or full length guide rod but I did replace the Colt factory double spring (23 lb) with an extra power (24 lb) single spring from Wolff. Other than that the Delta is stock. I've never had any problems but like I said I've been hesitant to shoot too much of the high power stuff through it. Double Tap has one 10mm load that is a 135 grain hollow point at 1,600 FPS. That's pretty incredible.

I think the "10mm" lettering on the right side of the slide was used only during the first couple of years of production. I have a pre-enhanced, blued gun (like tailgunner's), and it says only COLTS GOVERNMENT MODEL on the right side. I'd say chief's is an early one.
