Wrap Around Rubber Grips (Joshua M Smith)

I purchased a Colt 1911 with some wrap around rubber grips with a Colt medalion and Radical Concepts stamped on the inside.

These grips are great for shooting.

Does anyone know where I may locate the manufacturer as to purchase some more?

I have googled and done every thing else I know and I did find were a Joshua M. Smith (member of this site) had some info back in 2004, but did left the address out.

His personal box is full and I cannot reach him.

Joshua or anyone else please pass on any info you may have so that I can track down several more pairs of them.

When was the gun made? Call the Colt 800 number and they will tell you the year for free. a picture would be good.... pistol and grips.

The reason I was interested in a picture is that recently Colt, when they use wrap around grips, has been using Houge grips and for years they used Pachmeyer grips. Here are a pair of Pachmeyer grips with gold medallions on a GCNM from 1988.

I have also seen them with silver instead of gold.

I cannot put a picture on the net as of now, but the gun I bought was made in 2005 and the grips are made by Radical Concept with a silver medallion.

Radical Concept makes the grips on the GC Trophy currenty I am thinking as well as the older Combat Elite models, i am sure other models.

steelheadscott didnt have much I emailed him on the Radical Concept w/ Silver medallion & he was a no go, maybe gold he may have.
