This has happened to me at 3 times at the range. All 8 round mags wilson and cmc power mags.... I'll fire to gun till its empty then Insert fully loaded magazine Rack the slide back then pull trigger then NO BANG...
I could have sworn the mag was properly seated too...
But no round was chambered....is this a common problem
Is there is an easy fix? Is it cause the 8 round mags are fairly new?

Magazines not fully seated or you are short stroking the slide.

Yeah, that sounds like there's no slide lock after the final round has been fired. There should be no need to "rack" the slide after shooting the final round of one magazine and inserting a new one, as the slide should be locked back. Then all that should be required is to release the slide stop or, preferably, to "slingshot" the slide and releasing it.
After you've squeezed the trigger and, as you say, "no bang", when you've cleared the weapon, was there a round chambered at all?

Comprehension requires reading :p .
The mag is hanging on most likely a bushing or grip screw in the mag well and giving the sensation that it is seated, but is not fully so.
