One of my best buddys picked up a pretty nice full size 1911. He likes it and it shoots well and all, but he wants some bigger grips. He's got XXXL size hands, think first baseman's glove without the webbing! Ok, maybe that's a little exaggerated but you get my point. He says a Para 14-45 fits fine but could be even a little bigger.

What grips are out there that are BIG for a single stack 1911 Gov't.

Cheap black rubber/plastic would be preferred. He's not interested in fancy wood.

Thanks

Omega Custom Grips (http://www.czgrips.us/styles%20&%20designs.htm) offers a "Plus Size."

The Hogue black rubber grips with finger grooves are pretty big and not too expensive:

Leather gloves without the fingers used to do me just fine till I got the 'wide body' 1911.
