Does anyone have experience in submitting a unique design to a grip maker, and having them apply it to a set of grips?
I have a design I want to use but it is very intricate, so much so that I am a little concerned.
Also, what type of image or CAD file did you have to send them?
Can this work be done in elephant ivory?
Thanks,
DD

Not that your grip maker can't do it, but it may be better to have the grips made and then take them to a local trophy or engraving shop that has the equipment and experience to do a very detailed pattern for you. That way you could be on site to explain exactly what you want and interact with them as questions/roadblocks come up. Just a thought.
Good luck in your search!

Sarge,
I will certainly keep that good thought in mind.
By the way, I am a huge fan of your work, keep it up, Sir !!

DD, that is what I do also!!! I have a local engraving shop laser etch the Auto Mag logo on items. Here is an example of the AM logo laser etched on a case I made for the Auto Mag that was actually used in the movie "Sudden Impact" which is owned by a very good friend of mine, Walter Sanford the son of Harry Sanford the inventor and designer of the Auto Mag as well as the AMT and IAI line of pistols!!! :)

I also have them laser etch the same logo onto Zippo lighters as well as anything else that calls for the logo!! :)
