Hey guys,
This is my first post on this forum, I just purchased an STI Spartan which I am stoked about. I am replacing the mainspring housing cause I just don't like the feel of the plastic factory one and I wanted to add a magwell.

I bought the Ed Brown mainspring housing and Maxiwell and I was just wondering if it was possibly to simple remove the internals from the stock mainspring housing and use those, or do I have to purchase a rebuild kit?

Thanks for your advice.

Oh and here is a pic of my new addition. Forgive the oil stained newspaper, I will take a far sexier picture later.

But the next time you are ordering stuff from Brownells, or where ever, you may want to order an extra set of parts that go in the MSH and put them in a place where you can find them.
