Guys,

I Need fast turnaround on Beavertail, novak sights and dehorned slide on my Officer's model. Any reputable smiths that can do this and not take forever? I would be willing to pay extra for fast turnaround. Preferably someone who would be able to reanodize the frame.

How about Novak's?

I love Novak's, and have two prior builds, but they are buried in work. Dang, I thought there was a depression on!

You might try John Harrison. I don't know if he could re-anodize the frame, however.

Yeah, it looks like reanodizing the frame is going to be the hitch. Novak's does their anodizing in house so I may be stuck with a long wait. I ordered a drop-in beav (Wilson). I will try it out and see how that goes (heck, it is only $32). If the drop-in beavertail is OK then I will just send the slide to Novak's since they can do the sights in one week. I can de-horn it myself. That just leaves me with the terrible trigger. Maybe a C&S drop-in?

Do you really need such quick turn around? It sounds like a nice gun. It may be worth waiting a bit and getting it done first class.

Nah, I am just impatient. I waited about 6 months each on my last two builds and am getting too old.
