Capistan PocketSmith III: Site Problems...

I hope I chose the right forum to post this.

I've been trying for several months to purchase the Capistan Arms PocketSmith III reviewed here several months ago... but simply cannot do so on their web site! I have a Wilson Combat MultiTool, but like the CA PocketSmith better, as the time is coming I'm going to have to learn to detail strip a 1911.

Anyone have any suggestions that might help me acquire this tool from their web site? It won't load, MS XP says it has certificate probs, several issues there. Maybe I'm missing something?

As far as I can see, the same happens with every other product in Caspian's site. No matter what you try to order, this error message pops up.

I'll be patient. I like the Capian's "multi tool" better than Wilson Combat's, although that is a GOOD tool which I'll keep. The Capian III just seems to be more versatile, for like a detail-strip. I carry a Gerber Multi-Tool in SEALs Navy specs, and I like the way Capian made their PocketSmith more like that, than the Wilson Combat MultiTool, which having used it much, is a bit more cumbersome that what I envision the PocketSmith to be as far as actually WORKING on a gun. I have some nerve damage in my hands, and I think the Caspian would be more manuverable for me than the Wilson Combat.

I have initiated an e-mail to them. I like my Wilson Multi Tool; but this year, I am going to learn to detail strip a 1911. Caspian's Pocket Smith III, seems more complete--from that review here--than the Wilson version. I like the Caspian. I'll keep my Wilson MT; it's been VERY useful for minor stuff, MSH switching, stocks switching... but to me, less is more in many ways. The more multi-functional a thing is, while being basic, the better, to me. The Pocket Smith seems to fill that bill (like my Gerber SEALs multi-tool, MUCH better than another brand that originated the concept). After the RIA, I gave my dad one of these Gerbers... for Christmas. He loved it, too, not as much as the 1911, but, I understand, LoL... I use my Gerber often, and my Wilson often... but that Pocket Smith III... was made for us here, it seems! I like it. I keep an AR-15 firing pin with it, and a Springer MSH "tool" (to "catch" the MSH spring when changing it out or detail strip), but I'd like to have ONE tool for ALL uses on 1911s, although I do know, allegedly, you can detail strip one just with the tool that came with the M1911/M1911A1s... I'd frankly like to have a little more versatility, LOL... I have one of those original tools, with my O1918 Repro. Maybe, like some of you folks, that's all you need. Me, I'm a little nervous about learning to detail strip.

I think it'll work out. The link here worked, but I can't figure out how to set up my "account". I tried. I've got many accounts with the 1911 providers, but for some reason, I'm being challenged by Caspian's site, LoL... It's okay, though. We'll get though it.

Never could order on-line. Sent e-mail about probs to "Amy", I believe. Had to order via cell phone.

But, IS ordered and on the way. The Caspian site is just... a challenge. But there are other ways to order!

Will be looking forward to receipt of PSIII. I like my Wilson VersaTool; but I think from reviews and photos HERE the PocketSmith is better. 'Cause I'm fixing to learn to detail-strip this physical year.
