Now we have two threads about grips with the same USMC markings on them, can they be combined?

DudeBro:

For single-stackers, if you look at the Para web pages, you'll see a "height" listing for each gun. The 5.75" high guns are "GM" clones, and will accept about any grips for the Government Model. The only potential exception would be related to ambi safeties, but that's also the same problem with anybody else's ambi gun.

Likewise, you'll see 5" high guns. These are "Officer's" sized guns, and can accept most "Officer's" sized grips & such. Same ambi safety potentials, too, of course.

Para also makes a bunch of shorter frame guns, like the Slim Hawg (4.75") that I'm not sure about, but would expect to want a smaller grip. Might be harder to find, too....

Double-stackers are very specific, and you need to find something that's "marked" for the appropriate Para. You also need to know about cross-references. For example, when I bought my Tac-Four (the green avatar), practically nobody (including me) knew that it's a P1345 as an LDA, and, other than the lockwork, anything that'll fit the P13 will fit it, and vice versa.
