how do u fill in writtig or rollmarks i like to paint them so they stand our also ever time i paint my front sight paint comes off i clean them with acetone befote i paint them my sights are dead on maney i dont want to change them this rock will shoot a dime sizw at 10 yards.. :appld:

Have you tried Gun Kote? I never heard of a parkerized finish accepting stock paint and not wearing off. Might have to grind off the park to bare metal and then use gun kote on it.

I've never used Gun Kote, but Duracoat loves parkerized metal. It gives it a better surface to adhere to.

I just refinished my RIA with Duracoat. I actually stipped it down and re-parkerized the slide a frame before I shot the Duracoat to it. I'll have to get some pictures up soon.
