Colt top/Rock bottom????

Hi, can some one tell me if a colt compact officer slide and ect.will work or fit a RIA commander frame and ect.Thanks.

It "should." I used an Armscor slide to build a railed 1911 on a Caspian Recon Rail frame and had to do only normal fitting (new frame, rails were oversized to allow for fitting). And I have had several different slides and barrels on an Armscor frame, with no problems.

However, any time you mix and match, you have to accept the possibility that the slide-to-frame fit may be a bit loose, or may be tight and require taking a tiny bit off the rails.
