I have a experimential Colt Gunsite model CCO serial X31367 made for the then director of marketing as told to me by Colt. This gun was shot by him a little but not by me it is in very good condition at aprox. 98% condition. It has the box and document's with 5 mag's and a extra set of Ivory grip's. It has a commander slide and a light weight oficer's frame. I need some help on a value.

A production Colt GSP CCO nib recently sold on gunbroker.com for around $1500. There's currently one for sale, that has a bid of $1200 with a day or so to go in the auction. I paid $1195 a year ago for a NIB example. The pistol comes with two Colt mags, and they're worth about $35 ea from Colt.
The value of the ivory grips would depend on whether they're real ivory. Those list on gunbroker in the $300 range, if real.
Whether the special history of your pistol enhances or detracts from the value, I don't have a clue. My guess is that given that it wasn't owned by a celebrity, that it would be valued with the current market, plus the extra mags and maybe the ivory grips. The front sight on the pistol in the picture is not production, the production sight being plain black. For $100, you can get a letter from Colt, with the pistols's pedigree. The non-standard S/N would set it apart from the production examples.
Gunsite CCOs apparently have a following with folks willing to pay a little more than their original MSRP. Nice looking pistol.

Thank's for the input . I did call Colt and talked to a very nice lady and she gave me the detail's on the gun as it was transfered to Mark Roberts then director of marketing in 2004 through Newington Gun Exchange ,Newington Ct. but as you stated the front sight Should have been a Hienie sight but unfortunatly Mark did not document that he had Colt install the high vis sight originally on the gun {Per Mark himself as he told me } and yes the grips are real Ivory sold through Colt and the extra mag's are original also from Colt and if I keep this gun eventually it will be lettered.

I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how much your gun's history would enhance its value, but allow me to suggest that it would be very important that you be able to document its history. From a collector's perspective, it wouldn't really have any special value unless its special provenance can be firmly established.
So a Factory Letter would be very important, as would, if you could get it, a letter from Mark Roberts.

The production model had Wilson Mags as your piece has in the picture. Are you speaking of other Colt mags that were included with you gun?

The Gunsite CCO that I bought NIB from a retailer, had 2, Colt-stamped, 6 rd, flat bottom magazines. The Gunsite CCO currently being bid at $1400, also shows the Colt flat-bottom mags. Can't speak for all Gunsite CCOs, but all that I've seen have the Colt 6 rd mags as standard.
I believe the full-sized 1911 Colt Gunsite Pistol was supplied with Wilson magazines.

There were two specs on the Gunsite models that was listed on the website that only applied to the full-size models. The CCOs came with Colt mags and regular-thickness grips, vs. the Wilson Combat mags and thin grips of the full-size models.

I just checked my mag's and this gun came with 5 Wilson 7 rnd. mag's. Mark must have ordered the gun and mag's as he wanted it. Next time I see him at a cowboy shoot or my local gun store I'll have to get more detail's and try to get him to document everything on paper. Thank's for all the help guy's!!!
