Talked to Colt Customer Service yesterday and asked when the new web site would be up and running. The gentleman said it is supposed to be up by the end of the month.

FYI. Here's hoping!!

They had a "beta" version of it running at the S.H.O.T. Show in Orlando. I didn't get to spend a lot of time looking at it. It's going to be a big improvement over the current web site, certainly.

Colt is notorious for not keeping their website up-to-date on information. I hope this "new website" is interesting.

I have noticed that the Colt Mfg website is now unavailable. Even the link from this website no longer works.

Does this mean we will finally get to see the new Colt Website soon?

Probably, their website was down once before.
New site with current Models will be cool.

I just checked the Colt website (Tues @ 2:18 PM CDT) - www.coltsmfg.com - and it was working fine & still there. When Colt said "the end of the month", like a putz, I forgot to ask which month.

Here's hoping - soon!!

Shucks!!! It is working for me again, as well.

They said end of the month. They also did not say what year.

I thought they were going to hire a new Sales/Marketing person to address these kinds of issues (website, quality, spare parts avalibility, improved distribution and customer service beyond the front desk etc...) (it's pretty bad when I'm told "0" balance on something as basic as a 1911 Government recoil spring) Wonder what happened ........
