The following was posted on Carol K. Wilkerson's website: Collectcolt.com .
She is a Custom shop dealer and her late husband Don authored books on the SAA, etc.
"We are seeing some remarkable changes in personnel at the Colt factory. The ones that are announced as of last week were Beverly Haynes, Colt Archivist is moving in to the management of the Customer Service Department and that manager, Cindy LaPointe, is moving to the Custom Shop. There will be more announcements in the near future."

Don was also a past president of the Colt Collectors Association.
I believe the changes Carol mentions have already taken place.

So is this a good thing or not?

Maybe they fired whoever was supposed to be debugging the "upcoming" new website!

Cindy is in training for Custom Shop coordinator, I hate to see her go from customer service but Beverly is squared away so I don't think this is a bad thing.
There were several new promotions I saw at SHOT including a new VP. A lady named Joyce, who seemed very intent on getting Colt on the right track.

Folks,
I think these changes may be an improvement. I have spoken with Joyce Rubino recently and she seems concerned and has been very helpful.

I see this as potentially a very good thing. If Cindy can bring the same level of customer satisfaction to the Custom Shop that she brought to the general business at Colt, then the Custom Shop could really give Kimber and Springfield a run for their money.

On another Colt forum, a member who claims be "friends" with people at Colt says Mark Roberts is returning to Colt.
Just spreading gossip.....don't mind me......

Well, that's not gossip. Mark is at Colt, only not in Colt Mfg. If I am not mistaken, he is with the ... other side of the chain (for those who know).

By the way, What about Joe Canali?
He and Cindy helped me a lot a few months ago.

Javi

Mark was back at Colt a few weeks before the SHOT show. He is working in the parts division of Colt Defense.
I believe Joe is going to the factory but I will have to verify that.
