Creepy trigger

I need to get rid of the "creep" in my series 80, officers model.The trigger pull weight is o.k.at 5 lbs. But the creep is not acceptable.I have detailed stripped and cleaned and lubed it .I dont want to take too much metal off of anything,so am asking for good advice.

In the "Poor man's trigger job" write up pay particular attention to the "boosting" comments. That little bit of knowledge has helped me a lot.

Putting a modest amount of forward thumb pressure on the hammer and dry firing several time has helped many a trigger pull.
