I have all the parts for a 1991 a1 series 80,Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction in finding a frame.

I have a 1991A1 matte blued frame in original form in excellent condition with or without the internals. PM me and make me an offer. I'll see if your offer can convince me to part with the frame.

Brownells has a selection, MidwayUSA, direct from Caspian or Briley...

To the best of my knowledge Colt never has sold frames except as part of pistols ;).

They also sold kits in the early 1990s when Colt had more MKIV Series 80 slides than they did receivers, they mated those slides to the newly introduced M1991A1 receivers.

Come to think of it, I have a 1991 "Combat" Series 80 slide from that period, high profile sights and all.

I have seen a Colt Delta Elite stainless steel frame in its origianal box. Now that I think about it, I should have bought that one. At the time, the price was so high that I would have spent way more putting one together than I would have by just buying a used Delta Elite.

Being economically sensitive some times works against your better interest!
