Can someone point me to a link or a post to help get my gun running?? Searched without success. Took of my MSH to replace with a magwell S& A, and didnt know to keep my grip safety secured. Now when I reassemble the hammer doesnt lock back. Have looked at the 3D and cant figure it out. Need help. Thanks All Scott

YuouTube is my friend. Thanks Ive been lurking here for some time now. Tons of great info. I should have read a bit more before I took my gun apart. I noticed after that you have to secure the grip safety so nothing gets loose. Its an easy fix if you know to take the safety and the grip safety off and reassemble. Thanks Scott

take it apart and reassemble again sounds like you might have the sear spring in wrong.

Hi Scott: :wc: to the Forum!

You may have the sear spring installed incorrectly. Here's how it should look: http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p232/niemi24s/P0840900012e.jpg {Edited: See Post #6} You may have gotten the center leaf between the disconnector and the trigger bow stirrup - instead of on the aft surface of the disconnector.

The sear spring lays on top of both the sear (not shown for some reason in niemi's post) and disconecctor. Your symtoms indicate the sear spring is under the sear, common when trying to assemble without removeing the thumb safety and GS which makes it obvious and easy.

And here's what it looks like when there's a sear in there too: http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p232/niemi24s/P08A120001a.jpg

I would agree that it sounds like the spring fingers have slipped out of place. Easy to fix.
