Does anyone know if there is a drop-in beavertail grip safety that will accomodate a standard spur hammer on an Sistema 1911? I think King's makes one, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any information.

only thing close I know of is wilson makes one that drops in a GI that you dont have to radius the frame, but still have to bob your hammer or install a combat style...

Gil Hebard Guns, Knoxville Illinois (309)289-2700 has one by JTM for US$27. It's in their catalog as "Colt Wide Grip Safety" on page 20. Looks like this:

hope you can see the differences in the two even a drop in there is some fitting to do . the hammer is the only drop in part that I have found with no real fitting
